FST designs and develops high-end industrial packaging machines, and the global shortage of workers is relevant to all our clients. Therefore, unlike other competing offerings, we put in a lot of effort, so our products require minimal human intervention. When our machines tend a human intervention, we ensure there’s no need for qualified engineers to activate, control and maintain. This approach gives us a competitive edge in days of global shortage of workers disrupting industries and the supply chain.
A recent study showed an estimated shortage of 85 million workers around the globe by 2030. The deficit is almost everywhere: in the United States, there are nearly 11 million job vacancies, Europe is struggling to fill over 1.2 million open job roles, while employers in Australia are working to fill 400,000 vacant positions. Singapore saw 163 job vacancies for every 100 available candidates.
The manufacturing and supply chain segments experience a lack of workers: In the United States, there could be over 2 million unfilled jobs in manufacturing by 2030, and manufacturers in the UK are facing the most extensive labor shortage in over 30 years. The reasons are varied in different regions: technology skills gap, aging population, low wages, and immigration halt due to the pandemic.
We at FST believe the industrial landscape will change dramatically, and we prepare accordingly: easy-to-operate and maintain industrial machinery that requires minimal intervention, like in our Rewinding products.

It was a blast!
It was a pleasure to have so many people visiting Feldman ST’s booth at the K trade fair for plastic and rubber. All our new products (the Electromagnetic punching unit, the N.O.A. (No Operator Adjustment) system for Laser punching unit, the SAR MULTI) attracted a lot of enthusiasm. Furthermore, our new automatic PSF SLIT PRO - the first fully automated mini rolls rewinder - caught most attention from potential clients and partners worldwide. If you didn’t manage to meet us in K, you could always contact us today to see our new products.

Only at K Fair 2022! What we present at Düsseldorf…
FST is proud to launch PSF SLIT PRO: the first fully automated mini rolls rewinder. It is currently not possible to automatically produce mini rolls with rewinding machines. This year at the K fair, Feldman ST will present the new rewinder in which the operator’s task is only to: load the cores into the hopper load the jumbo roll collect the finished mini rolls. For everything else, the machine produces automatically and does not require any other operation. FST-EM: Feldman ST has over 30 years of punching experience. Of the two currently existing punching technologies, pneumatic and electromagnetic, Feldman ST only offered the former one. Moshe Feldman, FST’S founder and CEO say today: “Since there are customers who prefer one over the other and applications for which the other is better than one, Feldman ST has decided to propose and present its new electromagnetic perforator at the K Fair”.
